With an operating history dating back to 1954, Suwannee Transportation Company (“STC”) began with a single tractor and chip trailer for hauling by-products to local customers. In direct response to our customers’ needs for reliable and affordable freight solutions, STC has evolved into a fleet with 20 professional drivers, 24 over-the-road tractors, and 16 trailers including flatbeds, live-floor, and chip trailers. STC also works with local owner-operators that supplement our freight capacity and further deliver value-added freight services to our customers.

Committed to Safety

Suwannee Transportation Company is proud of its safety culture and we continue to foster that environment with all of our employees. While we manage our fleet to be fully compliant with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles rules and regulations, we hold ourselves to a higher standard. Using the FMCSA’s Compliance, Safety, and Accountability program as a guide, we work every day to be the safest and most reliable carrier available to our customers.
